Data Deletion Instructions

You can delete your iShots account and the data associated with it at any time. Choose whichever option is easiest for you.

Option 1 — Delete your account in the app

1. Open the iShots app and sign in.
2. Go to Settings.
3. Tap Delete My Account and confirm.

No app? Delete it on the web at ishots.in/delete-account: enter your email and password, then the verification code we email you.

Your account, profile, posts, media, messages, and any imported Instagram data are permanently deleted. This cannot be undone.

Option 2 — Remove only Instagram data

1. In the app, go to Settings and disconnect Instagram. This removes your Instagram access token and the Instagram media we fetched for import. Posts you already published on iShots stay until you delete them.
2. You can also remove iShots from your Instagram account: Instagram → Settings → Apps and websites → Active → iShots → Remove. When you do, Instagram notifies us and we delete your Instagram data automatically.

Option 3 — Request deletion by email

Email hello@ishots.in from the email address linked to your account with the subject “Data deletion request”. We will confirm and complete the deletion within 30 days.

What we may keep

We may retain limited records when required by law, to resolve disputes, or to prevent fraud and abuse. These are deleted once no longer needed.
